Looking Forward

As a professor of International Business, I recognize the strategic place both China and the United States play on the world scene. It has been a long time since I've been to China, but I look forward to getting back. We have a very dedicated team of individuals who have all invested a lot of time and emotional energy into preparing for this trip. It is my hope that we will have good, close interactions with our new Chinese friends.

A number of years ago before I went to China for the first time, I thought of the Chinese as 1.0+ billion nameless, faceless people - because I didn't know anyone. Undoubtedly, many Chinese think of Americans the same way. I trust that this time together will help us to be truly more understanding and appreciative of one another.
